Retreat Schedule

WAW welcome partyWomen At Woodstock opens with a welcome party on our first evening, followed by dinner, introductions of our presenters and on-site experts, and a group activity, guided discussion, or entertainment. At our West Coast Women At Woodstock this year, our opening night will feature an engrossing dialog on risk-taking, led by renowned authors Anne Perry and Victoria Zackheim!

WAW workshopThen you’ll enter into two full days of workshops, with a great selection of thought-inspiring, information-packed workshops to choose from (see our workshops page for full descriptions). You’ll find yourself immersed in anything from personal problem-solving to your emotional relationship with money to writing workshops to business coaching to social media (and more). You can start each day with a walk, workout or yoga class (or sleeping in a little!), and a complimentary breakfast. During your day, you’ll also have time to rest and reflect, enjoy lunch, use the spa, and meet with experts – or new friends – one-on-one.

Angela MasonAt dinner after the first day of workshops, those who’ve participated in the Business Accelerator/Incubator workshops will share their exciting business ideas that came out of it, and they’ll present their business concepts in a (civilized and supportive) version of Shark Tank – a fantastic opportunity to try your persuasive presentation skills that you can later use before investment groups, at meetings, even talking with your banker! This evening will also be a great opportunity for anyone who’s ever thought about crowd sourcing to plant the seeds for a campaign. The Women At Woodstock will be in your court – and can provide you with enthusiastic support to help you spread the word (and possibly add contributions) when you launch your campaign.

At select times during our retreat, we’ll be screening Lisa Levart’s Goddess film – a dreamy, thought-inspiring, meditative experience that women all across the country have been sharing.

After dinner each night, we’ll head outside for a warm evening under the stars for a loose version of chi gong, and continue on with conversations and wine at the bar or in your room or casita, if you have the energy!

On our last night together after dinner, we’ll experience a reading by candlelight (with wine) by the women who’ve participated in the writing workshops – and anyone else who would like to share her work. This open mic night will set free an amazing flow of creativity!

WAW group get-togetherAll through our retreat, there will be plenty of opportunities to have private or small-group conversations with new friends, meet with experts by appointment for one-on-one complimentary consultations, enjoy the luxurious spa services and fitness center on site, or take time alone for a walk or a time-out for rest and contemplation.

You will be a different woman when you leave Women At Woodstock 2014 – full of ideas, energized, and supported by the encouragement and the tools you’ve received to pursue your dreams!
